I Ignite: They Really Do Have The Potential To Go Far!
I Ignite would have been together since December 2011. As new comers to the alternative music scene, this past year has been incredibly strong for these guys with them accomplishing quite alot. When you ask yourself the question which band is going to make 2013 insane – the obvious answer will be I Ignite.
Doing a bit of extra research I looked at the guys’ Facebook Profile – ah such a great place to find new music! I was left totally speechless when I heard their material for the first time. Describing themselves as a punk/metal/rock band, these guys not only make these genres proud, but they also put alot of their own individuatiity and style into their material which gives their music a fresh new twist. Their are alot of new bands around who tend to follow a crowd, not that this is necessary a bad thing, but when if you want music that is unique then you must most definately check out I Ignite.
By saying going and check a band out is all fair and well, but inorder to help you to imediatedly realise the great potential and talent they have, I think it would be even more beneficial for my fellow music fans if I tell you about a few tracks I recommend that you check out.
A fantastic track to start with is ‘Falling’. Catchy lyrics and beats the song is well balanced giving you the best combination of deep and meaningful lyrics, a beat that unleashes your adrenaline, and a bit of screamo to give it that extra bit of a kick – just like a nice tasty cocktail :)
For a track that is smooth and a gets into the mind of I Ignite, then my second recommendation would have to be Let Me Go. It incorporates music with emotion but in a way that creates a powerful listening experience due to the thought and dedication that has gone into it. In addition it is a total contrast to Falling which just illustrates another positive factor about I Ignite, their ability to be diverse and flexible with their music. A similiar thing can be said about the acoustic track, Waves, which although may be simple and stripped down still creates an amazing vibe when you listen to it.
I have named three fantaic tracks so far, but what about that one track every hardworking band has that just makes you hyper and create a mini mosh pit? Sometime it takes quite a while to discover this one track, but no I Ignite did it for me straight away with the song, All Your Lies. Having put all the qualities that make them strong as a band, All Your Lies shows I Ignite at their best, and reinforces my view that great things are destined for this five piece band.
Anger Management always seems to be discovering hidden treasures in the music industry, and I Ignite is definately a band I will enjoying more and more of.
Show some love for them and check them out at the following link – because if you are looking for music that excites you certainly were not be dissapointed!
